PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Psyllium, also known as psyllium husk, comes from the seeds of the Plantago ovata plant and is an excellent source of soluble dietary fiber. These fibers absorb large amounts of water, forming a thick gel that moves through the digestive system without being fully absorbed. This property helps regulate bowel function, facilitating stool movement and alleviating constipation.
Additionally, psyllium has beneficial effects on cholesterol levels, as it can reduce total and LDL ("bad") cholesterol, supporting cardiovascular health.
