PRODUCT DESCRIPTION


 New harvest fresh and easy to boil Greek lentils from Makrakomi Fthiotidos with taste and quality guaranteed by the Greek legume series OLA BIO.

The most classic Greek legume.

They are a rich source of calcium and iron as well as slow-absorbing compound carbohydrates, plant proteins, fiber, vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

More analytically, the large amounts of fiber in the lentils help in the good functioning of the gastrointestinal tract, in the increased sense of saturation, and are associated with a reduced risk of developing heart disease and colon cancer.

The plant proteins contained in the lentils are rich in all amino acids except methionine and provide high-quality protein with the advantage of very low fat as opposed to meat.

Lentils are rich in various vitamins, but mainly in those of the B complex. Folic acid is a prime example.

PreparationRinse thoroughly and boil in water until tender. If desired, add salt toward the end of cooking. Consume only when cooked.

Keepin a cool and dry place.
